Partner with ReadyCert
ReadyCert prepares UK small businesses for Cyber Essentials: plain-English questions, an honest view of what would fail today, step-by-step fixes and the short policies drafted. It does not certify anyone — only IASME-licensed certification bodies do. That is exactly why it works alongside the people who do.
How it works
- You get a referral link —
https://www.readycert.co.uk/?ref=your-code. Every sign-up that starts from it is recorded against your code, whichever page the visitor lands on and whether they sign up that day or later in the same visit. No cookies, no tracking pixels: the code travels with the sign-up link. - Your clients get a discount code at checkout, agreed with you. The standard price is £149 a year (£95 for our first 50 customers).
- You get a referral fee for each paying customer who came through your link. The amount and timing are agreed per partner and written down before the first referral.
- Certification bodies also get sent customers. When a ReadyCert customer reaches the hand-off — every answer drafted, every gap closed — the app points them at partner certification bodies first.
Who it is for
Certification bodies
Applicants who arrive prepared take less of your coaching time and pass first time more often. Send the ones who need hand-holding to ReadyCert; when a ReadyCert customer is ready to certify, we point them at their certification body — yours, if you're a partner.
IT support and managed service providers
Cyber Essentials is a reason clients call you. ReadyCert does the plain-English preparation and the paperwork; you do the fixes and the ongoing support. Your clients get a discount code; you get a referral fee and a customer who already knows what they need.
Accountants, chambers of commerce and business networks
Your members get asked for the certificate by clients and tenders. A member discount and a link on your benefits page is all it takes; every sign-up from your link is counted.
What ReadyCert will and won’t do
- It prepares; it never claims to certify, and every result is labelled preparation guidance. Your assessment decision is yours.
- It is built on the current official texts — the IASME 2026 (“Danzell”) question set and the NCSC Requirements for IT Infrastructure v3.3 — and checked against them on a schedule. See how we stay accurate.
- It never connects to a customer’s systems or stores credentials: customers describe their own setup, exactly as they will in the self-assessment. See security.
- It will not sell your clients anything else. One product, one price, no upsells.
Try it before you recommend it
The two-minute check and the checklist are free with no account, and the requirements guide shows how the official rules are translated. The full check, scoping wizard and gap list are free with an account; only the fix guides, drafted documents and portal answers are paid.
